Unemployment rate drops to 2.22% in Vietnam’s first half of 2025
As of July 2025, Vietnam’s labor force reached 53 million people, with unemployment at 2.22%. Female labor participation was 62.5% vs. 74% for men. The share of workers with professional training rose to 29%. Labor market growth is noted in urban areas and among trained workers, supporting continued economic momentum.
